AIR TEXTURED YARN (ATY)
Air-textured yarn (ATY) is a bulked continuous filament (BCF) yarn made by injecting high-pressure air into polyester/nylon filaments, creating loops, tangles, and a soft, spun-like texture. Unlike false-twist textured yarns (e.g., DTY), ATY uses mechanical air-jet texturing instead of heat or twisting.
